Purchasing: vendors, purchase orders and procurement
Routes: /purchasing/vendors, /purchasing/orders, /purchasing/procurement [purchasing.read; write purchasing.write; receiving stock.post; procurement planning.read]
- Vendors: name, e-mail, phone, address, payment terms, notes, status.
- Purchase orders (
PO-…): vendor, order date, expected date, vendor reference, lines (item, quantity, unit cost). draft → sent → received (reached by receiving the last outstanding quantity, never by hand) or cancelled. Receive posts anRCVmovement into the chosen warehouse (partial receipts allowed; idempotent); the movement links back to the PO. - PDF and e-mail: every order has a branded PDF and E-mail to vendor (SOP-15): the e-mail goes out from the company mailbox (SOP-14) with the PDF attached and a secure link; the E-mail history card shows each attempt; a draft moves to sent when the e-mail went out. Mark as sent still records a send that happened elsewhere.
- Procurement (MRP): demand = confirmed sales order lines exploded one level through released BOMs of manufactured parts + open job material; supply = on hand + sent POs; the table shows the shortage per item and whether to buy or make. Draft purchase order creates a PO for a vendor from the selected shortages.
