Quality: inspections, NCRs and CAPAs

• Inspections (INS-…): what was inspected (goods receipt, production, shipment, in process, other) and which document, the item, quantities inspected / passed / failed (passed and the result follow as you type), the result (pass, fail, conditional), date, inspector, a checklist of points with OK / note, and notes. A failed or conditional inspection has Raise NCR in its row menu.
• Non-conformance reports (NCR-…): title, description, item, the inspection it came from, severity (minor, major, critical), quantity affected, containment, root cause, disposition (rework, scrap, use as is, return to vendor, repair), owner, due date. Move it with Mark as …: open → under review → corrective action → closed (and back where it makes sense). Open CAPA starts a corrective action from it.
• CAPAs (CAPA-…): corrective or preventive, the linked NCR, description, the actions agreed, owner, due date and the effectiveness check; states open → in progress → verified → closed.
