- Shipments are made for a confirmed order (from the order's Create shipment button or
/sales/shipments/new): warehouse, date, carrier, tracking number and the lines — what is still outstanding per line is shown; deliver part or all. Ship posts theISSmovement from the warehouse, raises the lines' fulfilled quantity and, when nothing is left, fulfils the order. Shipping is idempotent (anidempotency_key). A draft can be cancelled. - Invoices are drafted by hand, from an order or from a shipment (lines prefilled with the shipped quantities): customer, dates, tax rate (18 for 18 % GST / VAT), reference, notes, lines (item optional, description, quantity, unit price); subtotal, tax and total update as you type. Issue freezes it; Record payment adds a payment (method, date, reference) — partial payments make it partially paid, the last one paid; removing a payment reopens it. Void while unpaid. PDF prints it with the company name, numbers, lines, totals and payments.
- Vendor bills are the supplier's invoices to you: from a sent or received purchase order (Create bill on the order, lines prefilled with the received quantities) or by hand; supplier's invoice number, dates, tax rate, lines. Approve, then pay (partial allowed); void.
- Both lists show an overdue marker after the due date, and the invoices page sums the open balance, what is overdue and what was paid this month.
