CRM: leads and opportunities
Routes: /crm/leads, /crm/opportunities [sales.read; write sales.write]
- Leads are people or companies that may buy: contact, company, e-mail, phone, source (website, referral, trade show, cold call, e-mail, partner, advert, other), status (new, contacted, qualified, unqualified, converted), owner, estimated value, notes.
- Convert a qualified lead: it becomes a customer (new, or attach to an existing one) and, if you like, an opportunity with a name, amount and expected close. A converted lead keeps a link to its customer.
- Opportunities are deals in progress: customer, name, stage (qualification 20 %, proposal 50 %, negotiation 75 %, won, lost), amount, probability (editable), expected close, owner. The board shows them by stage with a Move to control on every card and the stage totals; the list is a table. Create quote opens a new quote with the customer and the deal filled in; confirming that order marks the deal won.
